While whitewater rafting was a familiar experience, canyoning was something fantastically new. Still hankering for the taste of bitter oranges and the herbs of Luxardo, we stopped at the first bar that we saw in Menton. Among its other amari cousins like Varnelli, Lucano, and Tosolini, nonino is a distinctly flavorful and amazingly vibrant drink. It's been on American bars since 2012, and if you've been drinking white negronis stateside, you've had Suze, maybe without knowing it.
