Delicious!! Line a rimmed baking sheet with aluminium foil and set a heat-proof wire rack inside.

The rack allows air to circulate underneath the wings and allows for even cooking.

You can bake these wings on a roasting pan if you want. Did not try the blue cheese dip but that sounds amazing as well.

However, I’m going to “try” an additional sauce recipe along with the buffalo. Transfer baked wings to a bowl and toss with buffalo sauce until completely coated. Just when I thought this little experiment wouldn’t be well received!

I made them with whole chicken wings and they came out just as great as I had hoped…Best wings I have ever had <3, I am a very picky Buffalo Wing eater. Betty, I don’t know if you attempted to add the sauce prior to baking like you said you would, but it is not necessary for the flavor to bake in.

I made my husband go out and get non-aluminum baking powder since I don’t like using aluminum and had no idea powder had it.

If I’m only making 1lb of wings, I assume just use 1/4 of all the ingredients? Line a cookie sheet with aluminum foil and spray generously with non-stick cooking spray.

I baked @400 for 40 min turning once then I put some BBQ sauce on some and the hot sauce on the others and baked @300 for 15min... they were great!

They turned very crispy but unfortunately, chicken was over-cooked. As a hard core out door griller, I had serious doubts…but the wings came out perfect! They make my mouth water, Try the sauce WITHOUT SUGAR – you won’t be disappointed – just Franks & butter : p. First time I’ve ever made wings at home and I am extremely impressed with this recipe!
You probably contributed to me not having a heart attack from all the fried wings I will not have to eat ever again!! Right before baking I dipped in the butter/hot sauce and placed on a wire rack to cook.

So yes you can make them with it! Let them set and 'drip dry' for several minutes so the sauce can stick to the chicken instead of sliding off the oil then put them in a large bowl.

And that meant fried. Bake for 30 minutes; flip and continue to cook until crisp and golden brown, (about 20-30 minutes longer), until golden browned and crispy. Seems like an awfully long time. You DO NOT need to leave them in for longer/overnight...I promise. They’re that good. Fantastic & GF!

Dredge them in the flour mixture, leave them in the fridge for 45 min-1 hr. I moved to WA state from Ohio and could not find hot enough wings to satisfy my taste.

I might also try making them in different favors such as lemon pepper or honey lime etc.
