Try to see what's being said but look beyond it and try to see from his eyes, if you dare. "Once you decide to kill...I'm talking about killing anybody you want, anytime you want, anywhere you want, you set yourself free to live the best kind of life there is." To read the actual words of Gaskins' first hand accounts of the crimes he committed pushed me to my limit and made me question my intentions for continuing to read the book. But then, a sliver of good news.

So has anyone (other than me) actually read this book? This is not even the most disturbing line in the book, but it sums up Gaskin's worldview. Some things are cheaper in the US compared to other “developed” and many “developing” countries. But paying for them certainly would be. Further, the contrast between extremely uneducated words and phrases interspersed with very well-written sentences and college level words felt very inconsistent and made me wonder exactly what the co-author's thought process was when he prepared this book.

It would be the kind of purchase that would come with sacrifice.

I don't encourage anyone to read this book unless they can stomach the details he goes into. possibly the most fucked up and twisted killer from America.
