Sudha Murthy is one such gem who pulls off sucha feat with great élan! My favorites from the book are “Doctor, doctor” which shows that kindness can bring wonderful rewards, but if the reward is misused, the kindness can be overlooked and the rewards stopped, “Kavery and the thief” which shows wit and wisdom can triumph in a hard situation and “How the seasons got their share” which brings importance to the need to share, and to work together. It's put in a tone that you'd remember your grandparents telling the stories in. Moral lessons are subtly blended in with the tales to impress the differences between what is right and what is wrong.The illustrations by Priya Kurian make the book more interesting and keep the young readers engrossed.
