UCAS Extra starts at the end of February (25th February 2020) and runs until the beginning of July (5th July). You’ve got until 5th July 2020 to submit your UCAS Extra application so you can start applying whenever you become eligible and the “Add Extra choice” option appears on your UCAS Track page. Remember to include your UCAS application number so that your new personal statement can be matched up to the correct UCAS application. While UCAS Extra is not a major issue for most students, and only a fraction apply this way, it can be highly successful for those who want a second chance and who do not want to wait until Clearing starts in early July.
